I made a new tutorial on how to use samples not included with LMMS. I recently released 2 drum sample packs and figured a tutorial would be useful.

November 5, 2009 - Metal Hits Sample Pack

Added another sample pack with 20 WAV hits of metal striking metal. I used recordings of pots and pans, singing bowls and even a gong. Whoo! It takes a long time to make these samples but I’m learning a lot! If the samples don’t sound high quality it’s because no one told me how to make them.
Should I make a tutorial on how to use these samples in LMMS?

I recorded hand drums, kitchen utensils, and other things quite a while ago. I recently decided to make them into royalty free samples. Check out the Ethnic Drum Sample Pack 01 pack on the new Samples page. These samples can be used in most music making programs including FL Studio and LMMS.

I completed my 6th tutorial for LMMS. It can show you how to make bouncy melodies and drums using the 3 4 time signature. Some of my songs that use 3 4 time: Eternal Plunder, Fixing Time, Moment of Joy and Greatest Treasure.
