I used to have so much fun playing Minecraft but I can’t get back into it. I’m tired of exploring and building. Currently the only point of Minecraft is to build and explore. I wish there was a fun multiplayer mode where you defend/siege a castle or play through some sort of rpg. Oh well!

Games I’ve been playing Recently:

I’ve been playing a game similar to Minecraft called Ace of Spades (basically minecraft with guns). The point of Ace of Spades is to capture the enemy intel. You can build walls to protect you from gunfire and dig tunnels under the enemy. Its pretty fun!
Another game I’ve been playing is Minions. Its a multiplayer flash game where you pick one of 5 unique tanks and destroy the enemy towers.
Finally, I’ve been playing Savage 2, this is an rtsfps (real time strategy first person shooter). One player is a commander with a play style similar to Starcraft while the rest of the players are the units. This game is amazing, and its free! I wish I could find more games like it.

Quitting Minecraft Again

I’m quitting Minecraft… again.

I played so much Minecraft over the past 2 weeks that its affecting my sleeping schedule. Minecraft keeps my mind so focused that I don’t notice I’m tired, I end up going to bed around 2:00am and getting up at 10:00am or 11:00am.

Last night, I went to bed last night around 3:45am and woke up around 12:52pm. I thought “This is the last straw! I gotta do something to fix this”. I’m a morning person so waking up in the afternoon really bothers me.

I’m doing the following things:

Delete all video games from my computer (including Minecraft).
Set my alarm clock for 9:15am tomorrow morning.
Abstain from drinking caffeinated tea today (so I can sleep).
Stop eating lots of junk food (For some reason, when I play games I start eating ‘junk’).

I sometimes feel like an all-or-nothing sort of person. Right now I’m in “action mode”, changing several things about myself. But there are times where I become like a “zombie” mindlessly feeding my addictions. Its some sort of cycle I haven’t been able to break.

Does anyone else feel this way?

Feel The Beats | Final Fury | Impossible (Auto Play)

I added another Feel the Beats video to YouTube. This time its for Final Fury on impossible difficulty. I am NOT playing, its on auto play! Theres no way I could beat this song without using auto play.

I uploaded a video of me playing my Eternal Plunder chart at Feel the Beats. I played this rhythm game on medium difficulty, there are harder difficulties. I prefer easy and medium because I’m not very good at this game yet

This video was recorded using CamStudio and edited using Virtual Dub. An online buddy of mine has been helping me learn about screen recording and exporting videos in Windows. Thanks Ripazhakgggdkp! (Hard to spell)

Lack of Blog Posts, Playing Minecraft

Its been a long time since I last posted something. Usually, I post to my blog after I finish a project. I haven’t finished anything lately.

I’ve been playing Minecraft, its a multiplayer survival/building game. This games still in alpha but its really fun! I assumed I’d be bored of it since there doesn’t seem to be a point in multiplayer yet. All players do is mine resources, make objects and build stuctures. It pointless but I can’t stop playing it! The Minecraft server I play on (http://crazy-fools.co.uk/) is down right now, maybe thats why I took time to write this post
