I’ve been lazy lately, haven’t submitted a video in 3 months! Anyway, I finally uploaded a video on how to sidechain in LMMS, I hope this makes someone happy

We got Distant Empires running on Windows last night. We tested it on 3 separate computers running Windows XP, Vista and 7. Next we’ll find a way to either run our game server indefinitely or make the server auto-restart. It shouldn’t be long before we start doing major testing and balancing.
If you’d like to help test, send me an email at:

I’ll contact all testers when we’re ready to test gameplay, we could be ready in the next couple weeks or it might be a few months. When its time to test we’ll put the game as a download on http://distantempires.com/
We added a crude chat system so players can talk to each other in game.
I’m making multiple game modes:
My brother and I still aren’t ready to find people to test Distant Empires, but we’re very close.
Things we need to fix before we test gameplay:

Once we get the Windows version working, I’ll upload a YouTube video to show off Distant Empires gameplay.
My brother and I are almost ready to test multiplayer for Distant Empires. I’ll be looking for testers in the next couple months or so. This will be mostly to test balancing, gameplay and to see how to game handles lots of players.
Distant Empires is a computer game of space conquest where you drive a spaceship and try to help your alien race take over the galaxy. We’ve been working on this game for almost 2 years now.
There are still some problems we need to fix:
- Various network problems, memory leaks, some weapons don’t work on the client yet.
- Planets are placed too close together, we’ll have to space them out.
The game only works for Linux right now but we plan to make it work for Macintosh and Windows. I’ll announce on this blog when its time to test, we’ll probably put a download link on http://distantempires.com/.
I’ll put up a gameplay video after we fix most of the problems.

I uploaded a video preview of my music album to YouTube. I will be using this video to help promote my music album.
Video: I used Fraps to record the MilkDrop visualization plugin in Winamp. Thanks to whoever made these awesome visualizations! I edited then exported the video using VirtualDub.
